The aim of the project is to install a solar power plant and increase the share of renewable energy sources in the final energy consumption of the company.

UAB Litvija is implementing the project "Installation of renewable energy production capacity in UAB Litvija". The year-on-year increase in energy consumption and the rising cost of electricity are driving the company to evaluate energy consumption/saving, more efficient use of energy, and the introduction of various measures and technologies that save the environment and natural resources. UAB Litvija has carried out an energy audit and is planning to install a 60 kW solar power plant based on its recommendations, which will allow the company to use the electricity it generates for its own internal needs, thus reducing its consumption of traditional energy.

The project is worth €65,519.80, of which €39,016.58 is supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
